High school football in Horizon West means the Horizon High School Hawks, the Orange County Public Schools high school at 10393 Seidel Road. Windermere High School, 5523 Winter Garden Vineland Road, sits just east of Horizon West. Both play in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), and the regular season runs through the fall. For game-week times, tickets and changes, use each school’s athletics website.

Schedules and tickets
Horizon High posts its sports schedules, scores and highlights on horizonathletics.net, the school’s athletics page says, with a tickets link on the same site. The site’s 2026-27 schedule lists varsity football road games at Apopka High School and Boone High School this season. Game times on the athletics site can show as placeholders until they are confirmed, so check on game week.
Windermere High links its athletics information from its school website.

Scores and playoffs
Our scoreboard posts results from the schools and the FHSAA each Friday and Saturday night, winner first. The FHSAA runs the state playoffs after the regular season and posts brackets on fhsaa.com.

Horizon High’s 2026-27 athletic physical check sheet lists what every student-athlete needs before practice:
- Register a student-athlete profile on the Home Campus online portal and sign the digital forms, including the FHSAA consent and release forms for concussions, sudden cardiac arrest and heat-related illness.
- Upload page 4 of the FHSAA physical form (EL2), signed by parent or guardian, student and doctor.
- Upload the FHSAA cardiology form (EL1) and ECG results, completed after April 1 of eighth grade.
- Sign the Horizon High student-athlete contract.
- Complete the NFHS online courses on concussion, heat illness prevention, sudden cardiac arrest and sportsmanship, dated after April 1, 2026.
