Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. The day starts early with the Mother’s Day 5K at 7:30 a.m., and the Saturday before brings the Winter Garden Farmers Market, with flowers and handmade gifts. Restaurants announce Mother’s Day menus in April; until then, the brunch spots below serve weekend brunch year-round, from their own websites.

Mother’s Day 5K

The Dream Finders Homes Mother’s Day 5K is on Sunday, May 9, 2027: 5K at 7:30 a.m. (“beat the heat,” the organizer says), awards at 8:45 a.m. and kids’ races at 9 a.m. Registration is $35 before April 24 and $40 after; kids’ races are $15. Water, fruit and granola bars are provided, the race page says. The 2027 start is listed only as “Clermont/Winter Garden.” In 2026 the race was on May 10 at 17000 Porter Road, the address of Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital.

Gift markets

• Winter Garden Farmers Market, every Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Downtown Pavilion, 104 S. Lakeview Ave. The city says more than 100 vendors take part each week, with fresh produce, artisan crafts, jewelry and flowers. Parking is free.
• Homegrown Market at Hamlin runs on the first and third Sundays, so it falls on May 2 and May 16, 2027, not on Mother’s Day. See our farmers markets guide.

Last year (2026)

• Shop, Dine and Stroll, Saturday, May 2, 2026, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Winter Garden, with a downtown-wide raffle, live music and a free tote bag at participating shops with purchase, the city calendar said.
• Mother’s Day 5K, Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 17000 Porter Road.
