Tickets and prices
Tickets are on sale at VenardosCircus.com. The circus does not publish a price list; prices show on its ticket page for each show, so check the show you want there. What the circus does publish:
- Seating is General Admission or VIP Ringmaster, both on flat ground.
- One child 2 or younger sits free on the lap of each paying adult.
- Children under 12 must sit with an adult in the same section.
- All sales are final. Date changes are possible with at least 24 hours’ notice by email to tickets@venardoscircus.com.
- The circus says it sells tickets only through its own site and cannot honor tickets bought elsewhere, so skip the resale listings.
The show
Hamlin describes Alice as a new Broadway-style production with aerialists, acrobats, juggling, comedy, magic and live music for all ages. There are no animals in the show; the circus says it uses human performers only. Popcorn, cotton candy and lemonade are sold at the tent, and there are no peanuts for sale. Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the tent, and neither are strollers (park them outside) or pets other than service animals.
The show is loud and bright. The circus says you are welcome to bring noise-reducing headphones, and staff hand out free earplugs on request.
Parking and getting there
The circus says parking at its stops is usually free and on-site, and that each ticket carries the details for its location. Hamlin’s listing puts the tent on the open space north of Walmart at 4830 Hamlin Groves Trail.
Two dates will be busier than the rest:
- Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27-28, the holiday shopping weekend.
- Saturday, Dec. 5, when Christmas at Hamlin runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on the Lake District green space, with the tree lighting at 6 p.m., according to Hamlin. Leave extra time for the 5 p.m. show.
Check our road construction and closures page before you go, and our getting around page for the main routes into Hamlin.
Rain or cold
The tent is rain- and windproof, and shows go on rain or shine unless there is a danger to the tent, performers or audience, the circus says. It heats the tent on cool evenings. After rain the lot can be muddy, so wear shoes you do not mind getting dirty.
Accessibility
Both seating sections are on flat ground. The circus keeps the ends of a few aisles clear for wheelchairs and asks guests who need help to email tickets@venardoscircus.com ahead of time. Portable restrooms, including one for wheelchair users, are on site.
