Horizon West’s bakeries are in two places. Hamlin, the town center on New Independence Parkway, has a bakery cafe, a French pastry cafe and a cookie shop close together. Around Lakeside Village, on Winter Garden Vineland Road and Old Brick Road, are a French cafe and a Panera Bread.
How we made this list. Horizon West is unincorporated, so it has no city limits. We used the U.S. Census Bureau’s boundary for the Horizon West census-designated place and kept only places inside it. Our starting points were OpenStreetMap, the data behind our local directory, Hamlin’s own business map and the state’s restaurant license records; we then checked each place against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026. My French Cafe has no website of its own, and Panera’s location page would not load for us, so both are here on the strength of their current state licenses. The list is alphabetical.
