Patios and outdoor dining in Horizon West: Hamlin and The Mark

Outdoor dining in Horizon West is mostly in Hamlin, where a brewery with a biergarten, a sports bar patio, a mini golf restaurant and a cafe patio are all in the town center. The Mark on Miley Drive has a brewery patio, and a pizza shop on Bridgewater Crossings Boulevard has outdoor seats.

How we made this list. Horizon West is unincorporated, so it has no city limits. We used the U.S. Census Bureau’s boundary for the Horizon West census-designated place and kept only places inside it. Our starting points were OpenStreetMap, the data behind our local directory, Hamlin’s own business map and the state’s restaurant license records; we then checked each place against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026, and kept only places whose own site mentions a patio, outdoor seating or open-air dining. Other places may have a few tables outside; if yours does, tell us. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Home State Brewing Co. in Hamlin is a brewery, taproom and biergarten with a kitchen. Its site says it is dog friendly on the covered patio and in the biergarten. Hamlin lists trivia there on Wednesday nights.

Marco’s Pizza on Bridgewater Crossings Boulevard is the pizza chain’s Horizon West store. Its page lists outdoor seating along with dine-in, curbside pickup and delivery.

Miller’s Ale House in Hamlin is a restaurant and sports bar. Its page invites guests to grab a spot on its open-air patio or in the dining room, and notes that closing times can change around big games.

New York Beer Project at The Mark describes itself as a brewery, gastropub and taproom with a patio and event spaces. Its menu runs from Buffalo wings and burgers to pizzas, sandwiches and salads, and its calendar lists brunch in the brewery.

PopStroke Hamlin pairs 18-hole putting courses with what it calls an open-air restaurant and ice cream parlor, plus a sports bar. Food and drinks can be ordered through its app while you play.

Toastique in Hamlin serves toasts, bowls, juice and espresso. Its page says some guests sit on the patio and watch Hamlin go by, and brunch is served every day.
