Where to get burgers in Horizon West: Hamlin, Lakeside Village

Burgers in Horizon West cluster in Hamlin, on New Independence Parkway and Hamlin Groves Trail, where five of the nine places on this list are. Two more are around Lakeside Village on Winter Garden Vineland Road and Old Brick Road, and two are at The Mark on Miley Drive off Seidel Road.

How we made this list. Horizon West is unincorporated, so it has no city limits. We used the U.S. Census Bureau’s boundary for the Horizon West census-designated place and kept only places inside it. Our starting points were OpenStreetMap, the data behind our local directory, Hamlin’s own business map and the state’s restaurant license records; we then checked each place against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026. McDonald’s location pages would not load for us, so those rows point you to the chain’s page; both stores hold current state licenses. Five Guys at Flamingo Crossings is inside the City of Bay Lake, so it is not here. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Ford’s Garage in Hamlin is a burger and craft beer restaurant set in a 1920s service station theme. Its page calls its burgers prime, and the menu also lists wings, salads and desserts. Happy hour runs 2 to 6 p.m. weekdays.

McDonald’s (Hamlin) on Hamlin Groves Trail and McDonald’s (Winter Garden Vineland Road) near Lakeside Village are the chain’s two Horizon West stores. Both are licensed by the state at these addresses.

Miller’s Ale House in Hamlin is a restaurant and sports bar. Its menu has a burgers and sandwiches section, from a classic cheeseburger combo to skillet burgers, and its page mentions an open-air patio.

New York Beer Project at The Mark is a brewery and gastropub. Its menu lists 10-ounce sirloin burgers served with fries, with a plant-based patty or gluten-free roll on request, and a burger-and-beer lunch on Thursdays.

PCG Burgers at The Mark is a counter burger shop. Its site names most of its burgers after rock musicians, from the Elvis and the Bowie to the Jagger, and also features its french fries.

PopStroke Hamlin is a mini golf course with a full-service, open-air restaurant. Its page lists smashburgers, crispy chicken and salads, and an ice cream parlor.

Wendy’s (Hamlin) on New Independence Parkway and Wendy’s (Old Brick Road) at Westside Shoppes serve the chain’s fresh, never-frozen beef burgers and Frosty desserts, with a drive-thru. The Hamlin store stays open to 2 a.m.
